Ari Harms car remained at a campsite after it was due to leave. Witnesses say they saw AH enter the river in an inflatable kayak.

On Monday, May 29, 2023 at approximately at 1:52 p.m. the Grand County Sheriff’s Office was notified by the Pioneer Park campground host that a vehicle was still located at a campsite that should have checked out already.

Still searching. The plan is to close sections of the river and road so SAR can get in and out safely, they don’t have interference with air searches, etc. They found the kayak.
