I had an acquaintance become paralyzed in a similar accident while riding an ATV less than 100 miles from this spot. He came up over a knoll and couldn’t see the slot canyon opening until he rolled in. He’s doing well, thank goodness.

That’s awful, but glad he’s doing well. I guess this sport is riskier than I imagined.
